Former Wales winger Alex Cuthbert has given a blunt reaction to Warren Gatland leaving his role as Wales coach.
“It’s not a surprise with that record,” he told talkSPORT. “He needed a performance against Italy and it didn’t happen. The union had to make a change, this run is looking like it’s going to be 17 losses in a row and a change could freshen things up for the last three games
“The WRU backed him after the autumn but nothing has changed, not they style of play or the performances. It’s a shame really, Warren has a great history with Wales with the success that he’s had. The Union have let him down as well.”
