Wimbledon LIVE: Star kicked out of locker room as commentator left with ‘goosebumps’ | Tennis | Sport

Jack Draper has revealed he went to the wrong locker before realising he was seeded at Wimbledon for the first time.

Draper’s remarkable form this year has seen him soar up the ATP rankings and now sits as the No 28.

Upon arriving in SW19, the 22-year-old instinctively went to the lockers designated for unranked players. However, he was swiftly told to move to another locker.

“It was funny. When I arrived I went to the changing rooms and there are two changing rooms,” Draper told talkSPORT.

“I went to the ones upstairs and put my stuff in the locker, got what I needed and got everything sorted.

“That’s what you do as a player, get your locker and you’re happy with it.

“And the guy said you’re in the wrong locker room, you have to go downstairs as you’re seeded now.

“It was a great feeling to come here seeded and feel like I belong a bit more with the best players in the world. That’s exactly where I want to be.”
